Mckenna Grace has a string of high-profile theatrical roles recently released including her Emmy-nominated return as Esther Keyes in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and her starring role in Peacock’s True Crime hit, A Friend of the Family where she plays Jan Broberg, a girl who was brainwashed and kidnapped multiple times by a trusted neighbor. Also recently released is Lifetime’s The Bad Seed Returns where Mckenna reprises her lead role as Emma. This sequel was written by Mckenna and her dad, a surgeon, during the pandemic when the world shut down, which they then produced along side the team from the first film that released in 2018.
Mckenna is the youngest-ever Emmy nominee in a Guest Actor category and carries the highest number of TV and film credits of anyone ever under 18. Highlights of her credits include playing opposite Viola Davis in Amazon’s hit feature Troop Zero and in New Line’s Annabelle 3, which is the latest installment in The Conjuring universe that has collectively grossed over one billion dollars worldwide. She previously appeared in Marvel’s hugely successful Captain Marvel, and in I,Tonya, with Margot Robbie. Perhaps best known for her breakout starring role in Fox Searchlight’s Gifted opposite Chris Evans for director Marc Webb, Mckenna earned a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award nomination for Best Young Actor/Actress. Other television credits include recurring roles on CBS’ hit comedy series Young Sheldon, the ABC/Netflix series Designated Survivor and Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House.
